We ordered two of these sets for two young ladies graduating from high school and off to college in the fall. I was reluctant at first to order jewelry over the internet sight unseen, but when the package arrived today I was delighted. The pearls are a little smaller than I might have expected but are well-matched in size and very lustrous and beautiful. The necklace is delicate and graceful, yet feels substantial in weight against the neck and falls at just the right place; the clasp seems sturdy, a bit tight but still easy to fasten and feels as though it will hold up under use. The packaging is really upscale, with the sets coming in lovely ribboned blue boxes inside an outer matching box, complete with care guide telling all about pearls and their origins and care. All in all I think these are a great value for the money and will make an impressive gift for any young woman. These pearls are quite lustrous and very nice. I just wish there were a few more of them. The necklace is very small, almost a choker. The bracelet is small as well... not for large wrists. However, the sliver clasps are quite nice and the way they clasp keeps everything secure. While these are nice for bridesmaids gifts, they would be nicer if they were a little longer...
