Customer Reviews:NOT recommended! By J. Doyle I purchased this jewelry organizer as a storage solution. I needed to eliminate a large dresser top jewelry box, and find an organizer which I could stow on a cabinet shelf. That being said, I needed a box which was flat, offered a good variety of storage compartments inside, and had a lid with secure closure. This box would have fit my needs perfectly, so I was willing to pay the expensive shipping charge from California.
This item was shipped in its original product packaging with the shipping label pasted right on it. No effort was made to pack the item securely for shipment. When it arrived to me, the product's package was destroyed, and its mere luck that the item inside was not damaged.
Just in the few moments that I handled this organizer as I removed it from its packaging; I found my hands covered in BLACK dye, (or possibly very fine particles of loose flocking). This black residue did not wash off my hands easily. Every inch of this box, interior and exterior, is covered with this residue.
As an example of just how bad this residue is, I put on latex gloves, handled the box, then photographed the gloves afterward. This photo is shown in one of the customer supplied photos above.
Unfortunately, this item was offered from an Amazon seller, (ATAFA). Their return policy requires that the item be returned, unused, in its original packaging. But, as mentioned, the item was shipped in its original box, which was destroyed in shipment. Per their return policy requirements, I would have to return it at my own expense, + a possible 20% restocking fee and charges for packing materials, and I would not receive a refund for my original shipping/handling charge. Potentially, a $30 LOSS if I were to return it.
In the future, I will avoid this seller, as well as any products produced by Aspire.
Exactly as pictured By C. Jenkins This item is exactly as pictured and very nice. It holds a LOT of stuff in an organized and safe manner. I'm very pleased with the quality and construction.
My Wife Loves This By Adventure Junkie Bought it for her so she could keep all of her jewelry in one box inside our safe. Its smaller in size but keeps all items organized and easy to find. The lid has a hooks to hang chains and a pouch to hold the lockets and any paperwork. Plenty of room for watch storage as well. I love it and so does she.
